St Marys PS - Yarram VIC - Soft-fall Playground System & Multi-Sports Area

St Mary’s Primary School in Yarram is the first to have Gecko install it’s NEW Soft-fall playground system.

Gecko’s latest Soft-fall mat which complies to Critical Fall Height Standard AS/NZS 4422:1996 has been installed underneath the synthetic grass surface with great success.

St Marys looked at alternatives before employing Gecko’s Soft-fall system that provides a lush grass surface which ‘looks great & feels good’. Underneath the grass is a highly durable Soft Fall mat which absorbs children’s falls & spills.
 

Di Austin School Principal stated...

”We employed Gecko to install our new synthetic grass areas including around the play equipment.

They were able to recommend some different options including soft fall under the grass which not only feels good, but looks great.

The children love the new areas & are very proud of them. Gecko provides great service & backup and we are looking to use them again for more areas.”

In conjunction with St Mary’s new playground Gecko installed a new Multi-Sport synthetic grass surface.

The school saw the need to transform their dry & dirty playing area into a more attractive surface and consequently Gecko was able to create a new colourful & fun surface which now promotes children playing and provides a much cleaner & pleasant environment.

The dusty area which previously deterred children now also includes a running track around the perimeter of the court area.
